We’re constantly working to improve the OnMat apps, and we’re sharing exciting new features and enhancements that will make managing your gym, school, or studio even easier. Here’s what’s new:
Pass Along Credit Card Fees
We have integrated with a new credit card processor that gives you the option to pass along credit card fees to your members. This means you can eliminate your monthly credit card processing bill (except for the $15 monthly gateway fee), potentially saving you hundreds of dollars per month! If you’re interested in migrating to this new processor, reach out to us, and we’ll guide you through the process.
Easier Member Registration with Embed URLs
When you define a membership package, you’ll find a new “Embed URL” tab. This feature generates a URL and QR code that you can use on your website, emails, and social media. When a user clicks the link, they’ll be directed to a landing page to sign up and make payments if required. Plus, this process automatically sends out your customized welcome email!
Now Available on Desktop
The first version of OnMat for Desktop is here! While we have many more improvements planned, we wanted to get it into your hands as soon as possible. You’ll now find a new “Members” section in the left menu bar under Advanced Settings when you log in from your computer.
Automatic Late Payment Fees
By popular demand, we’ve added an automated Late Payment Fee feature for membership payments. You can activate this in Advanced Settings > Account Settings > System Settings under “Apply Late Payment Fee” and specify the fee amount.
Currently, the fee is a flat amount, but we plan to introduce percentage-based fees in a future update. The system calculates the number of late days based on the Late Payment Email (3 days) + Grace Period (Lock-Out Member switch), but you don’t need to enable these settings for the late fee to apply. Late fees will appear as a light yellow payment item in OnMat for Desktop, with support for OnMat (iPad) and OnMat Lite (iPhone) coming soon.
OnMat Edge Update
A new version of OnMat Edge for iOS is rolling out this week, fixing several bugs and adding Program support. The Android version is coming soon! This update also lets members drill down into individual skills, so they can view descriptions and any resources you provide for at-home practice.
As part of this transition, we’ll be sunsetting OnMat Now later this year.
Monthly Metrics Report
Starting next month, OnMat will send you an automated monthly email with a PDF report summarizing key business metrics, including:
- Current active members
- New registrations
- Cancellations
- Financial overview
- Late payments
- Upcoming birthdays
