What kind of iPads do you recommend?
All iPads with a camera are supported. The only iPad model without a camera is the original iPad (iPad 1), which isn’t supported since Apple has limited its iOS version to an outdated, unsupported level. For the attendance iPad mounted at the studio entrance, an older iPad model works well. iPad minis are especially convenient on the mat as they easily fit in your hand.
Does JIBASoft offer a FREE trial and when will I be charged?
Yes, we offer a 30-day free trial. While this may seem brief, we dedicate significant resources to get you set up quickly and ask that you're prepared to provide the necessary time and information to get started. In most cases, with timely information from you, we can have everything running within a few days. If you feel you need more time for your trial, just let us know.
Once the trial period is over you will be charged your 1st monthly subscription fee. We do not have any contracts so if you decide we are not the solution you need, simply cancel your account.
Do I need to purchase any hardware?
Yes, but not from JIBASoft. You will need to buy at least 2 Apple iPads to operate the JIBASoft solution efficiently. Once of the iPads is dedicated to attendance taking. This attendance iPad can be an older, cheaper iPad 1 which can be obtained from places like eBay, www.craigslist.org, www.cowboom.com and www.amazon.com since Apple no longer sells this model. The other iPad(s) can be any other models (iPad 2, 3 or mini) since they all have a camera.
